Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 June 2026
These terms govern your use of Imago Dei (“the service”), an online Bible-study service operated by MeetingPoint (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Your account
You need a valid email address to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you think someone else has accessed it.
Free and paid content
The four Gospel studies are free to read. Access to the rest of the library — the whole Bible, across all three tracks — requires a paid subscription.
Subscriptions and billing
- Subscriptions are offered on a monthly or annual basis and are billed in advance through Paystack.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period using your chosen payment method, until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime from your account. Your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- We may change our prices. We'll give you reasonable notice, and any change will only take effect from your next renewal — never mid-period.
How you may use the studies
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to read and download the studies for your own use. Please don't resell, republish, share your account, or systematically copy or redistribute the content. Reasonable personal use — including downloading a study PDF for yourself — is welcome.
Intellectual property
Scripture is quoted from the World English Bible, which is in the public domain. The study writing, design, and other materials are owned by MeetingPoint and protected by copyright. “Imago Dei” and “MeetingPoint” are our names and branding.
Availability
We work to keep the service available and accurate, but we provide it “as is” and can't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change, or remove features over time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that can't be excluded under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act.
Suspension
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or misuse the service (for example, sharing or redistributing paid content).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the “last updated” date above, and continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
